We may step it up and bring our A game to what will certainly be a very tough match. If we start moving the ball like a Team (with a capital T) we'll win our first 3 points of the season. Sounds like coach is confident he has the talent, and wants to encourage creativity, but keeping them from playing like a bunch of individuals seems to be the hard part.

City 2
Portland 1

Pierre-Louis scores early and Eric Carpenter gets his first professional goal in the second half.

If it would've been Liverpool, Barca would be out.  FYI guys I unfortunately will not be able to make it to this match, a friend is coming back into town who's been gone for months and were throwing a big party for him.  Have fun and be loud for me though! City 1-0 Portland.

Bring him to the match.  You can have the party there.
I won't be down singing with you guys -- our main video guy is at his commencement this weekend (and the other video guy is somewhere in Europe  Smiley Smiley Smiley) --- so I need to babysit our USLLive feed for this match.

I'm sorry, but why are you going to a Crew game over OUR game?

Because I am a fan and i was invited to the Huntington Club, which is the corner suite/club seat area in the south end. My buddy has those seats for this game. It is the 10th anniversary of Crew Stadium.

Why would anyone leave the country during our inaugural USL-1 season?

Smiley

BTW, I might ditch the Stars to watch a WPSL game from the Huntington Club (as long I can record our game)...

"The Huntington Club, located in the southeast corner of Crew Stadium, is a fully enclosed, climate-controlled, 5,500 square foot hospitality area for large groups and corporate entertaining. The adjacent terrace seats 100 people and provides an exceptional view of the action on the field, whether it be a Crew game or another event held at the stadium. The Huntington Club is available for Crew matches and select stadium events as well as for business or personal functions on non-event days.

Club Amenities:
100 Huntington Club game tickets
Option to purchase VIP parking passes in advance
Outdoor terrace and amphitheater style seating overlooking the field
Fully furnished lounge area with cable TV's and private restrooms
Climate controlled setting (heating/air conditioning)
Personalized catering is available for purchase through Sodexo Sports and Leisure Services
Audio-visual capabilities
Sodexo Sports & Leisure Services is Crew Stadium's catering partner. Sodexo offers a wide variety of catering options for any special function or event day hospitality in the Huntington Club. From breakfast, lunch and dinner menus to hors d'oeuvres, appetizers and desserts, you are able to create an unforgettable menu customized for your event. "

i have seen the seats from attending the games, and now i get to sit in them. I am very excited. The view has to be awesome. Plus they are expecting close to 20,000 for the game, so the atmosphere will be fun.

I was a Crew fan before the Cleveland Ciy was born. I have alliegences to both squads. Until City becomes and MLS team, I dont see it being a problem. Plus, when Adam Moffat is healthy, he is fun to watch since he is a City Alum. I know I am not the only Crew/City fan. If we are told it is not cool to have be fans of both, City will most likely lose. I dont see it being a problem.
